Tyler, do you think i could go with 245/??/18 for the new tires on those wheels? Instead of the 225/45/18

I have 245/40/18 on mine but with my sas the rear tires rub when I get on it and they stick out a little on the front maybe 1/4" but if you have good springs in the rear 245/40s should work

Unless your picking them up for cheap or need the traction because of drag racing, you probably will be happy with a 225 tire that would give no clearance problems in the future. plus if the tires stick out they kick up rocks and dirt on the side of the car. just throwing this out there:angelnot:

edit: Im very happy with the Yokahamas i have. plenty of traction on the road course plus a softer and quite ride compared to the falkens!

I'm liking the yokos on the volvo too. They handle descent, and are really quiet. What yokos do you have?

And they will apparently help keep the rims from getting scuffed if you happen to hit a cement barrier on the Interstate. :naughty:

ya i would stick with the 225's. i mean i have 225's on my 8in wide rims. yours are 7.5in wide. or so they say on the back of them. btw i got the back of the rims painted and the center caps. so now just gotta sand and spray the front. then there good to go. btw the center caps look nice

My turn, Just put rod bearrings in my car this past weekend. After seeing and hearing Jeremiahs in Michigan at the track it gave me inspiration to put some in. They werent desperately needed after replacing and seeing what kind of wear were on the orginals, but still for the best. So it took me about 14 hours and she should go for as long as I own the car. Also about a week ago I bought the Cobra SVT Thunderbird rims from joe, some saw them already and I have fallen deeply inlove with them! Cat is the way to go, I have owned a ZR 500 for the past four years now and it hasnt gave me any troubles. There is my two cents.

Here's some ********.

I got rear ended last Friday and have $5000 worth of damage (and rising) to our Trailblazer. We can't even get a full quote on the damage until the body shop takes it apart.

The truck of the douche bag who hit us. He was going 45 mph and we were almost completely stopped when we were hit.

The trailer hitch of the trailblazer took most of the action from the hit. The body shop said that the bumper and trailer hitch are all one big, solid, heavy piece of metal. They weren't surprised that the other car was in much worse condition.

All the gaps between the body panels are messed up. We have 3 busted seats. The damage also transferred to the frame.

The other company is paying for everything, thank god. They're covering medical bills and a rental car, as well as the damage.
