I don't know, but I have ordered one today, and it should be here thursday or friday. When I do get it installed I will give you a good review and everything. I'm pretty shur its the same kit that you buy at Northern Tranny.

When I order the kit, it did not include the blocking rings aka syncro rings. Bart told me that they were a separate item.

some tranny kits come without synchros..... for instance... southern gear co. sells their rebuild kit for the SHO MTX-IV with or without the synchros..... price difference is not too much but noticeable

BTW I am sending my kit back because I did not need it. The junkyard tranny I picked up for $250 turned out to be virtually brand new inside. No wear on the bearings and the blocking rings and syncros still had the machining marks. I just dropped in my quaife and put it back together.

I WAS LIED TO! The kit dosen't include syncro rings! I talked to the guys the first time and I was ready to order, they were like "No problem, 180 for the <u>MASTER</u> rebuild kit (nowhere on the site does it say that the kit dosen't include syncro rings) and they said that they where included. Seems to me like they were just ready to take my money. Anyway, so I call up today (monday) and I ask to make shure its getting shipped and everthing, and they're like "Yea its ready to go out" and I ask just one more time what all was included and they were like "Every whear part" so I'm like "score" but then I ask about the syncro's and they go "no thats not included and its another $100".


SO anywhay, don't buy from these guys, seems the western spirit is still a greedy one (at least business wise).

THanks for the heads up. Greed coming from a company in Las Vegas? No way! Greedy rich bastards love to take from the poor and give to themselves. I wouldn't be surprised if markup was 200% or more.
