Ok, I have noticed that when you really try to accelerate, I get a huge amount on front wheel spin.. it was the same at the track today. What does everyone elses do when you are at a stop and then gun it? On a side note, the tires on my wheels have a tread wear of 620! This could be one reason they spin to begin with.

You definitely don't have the performance package, the F1's have a very low tread wear index. What tires do you have on your car?
On the AWD system's performance, this is the first time I've heard of it not working properly.

Holy *****, I don't think I've ever seen tires with a 620 treadwear rating! The highest I've ever seen on tires I was looking at was 400, and 220 is about the norm lol. Those are some hard-ass tires!
If you're getting lots of wheelspin, then not only your AWD, but your traction control is malfunctioning. You shouldn't be getting much - if any - wheelspin with TC on. I'd say take it into a dealer.

I'm going to try it on the street again tomorrow. The thing is that even with the TC I wouldnt think we should get much of any wheel spin either.. The syspem is suppose to sense the spin and transfer to the rear wheels. As much as 100% from what I have read.. as for the tires, they are Michelin Primacy MXV4 .

There was a clip on YouTube of a guy who only had FWD functionality. Turns out he had rear diff issues or something along that line.
Of the two 2010 SHO's I've been in, neither had any sort of traction issues off the line. ****, beefcake was running 12.79s in the 1/4 and he didn't have any wheelspin issues.
Your issue might warrant a trip to the dealer...

I'd be talking to the dealer if you're getting significant wheelspin on pavement with the traction control on. All the 2010s I've driven just hook and go, even with the TC off and brake boosting.
FWIW, a lot of Ecoboost FLex and MKT had PTU issues, so much that there was a stop shipment on them from the plant.
Fordtaurus.net had a member with a SHO that had a bad PTU and the dealer and zone rep swore there was nothing wrong.
Finally got the Ford powertrain engineer there and put the car on the lift and guess what, the rear wheels did not turn when put in drive. They replaced the PTU and rear diff.

You beat me to it. Def seems like an issue.
Even with 620 wooden tires.
(I don't buy over 220 treadware, and never over 300 max, for anything that isn't a winter tire)

Same here. I tired to brake boost one at 3k with TC off and absolutely no wheelspin, not even a chirp. It was a PP equipped car though too, so the F1's helped.
FWIW I run Goodyear Assurance Triple Treads on my P71 which have a 720 rating and they grip fantastically, even on the 2 ton barge of a Crown Vic. I've even done multiple burnouts on them and they have been going for over 40k miles, no prob and plenty of tread to go.
took it to the dealer and they said there was nothing wrong.. "The rears on the AWD system are just helpers. You would never know they were working" They said they called the tech line and that everything is working like it should. SO the car is now at dealer 2...

Sounds like dealer number one doesn't want to be bothered with the work.
Make sure dealer number 2 knows you've already done research on this, and yes, there is a problem

Quick lesson on treadwear ratings--doesnt really matter what the rating on the tire says because there is no standardization for the rating between manufacturers. This means a 620 rating for Goodyear means absolutly nothing to Michelin. the only real problem I have with the tires on my 2010 is that Ford chose to use very old tech with tires when they put Eagle RSA's on it. Same tires where on my new 97 Grand Am GT and they had been around several years before that!!
Goodyear was lowest bidder to the table that met all the specs for the 19" SHO Base wheel. The RSA has been around a long time, but so has Michelins MXV4. They keep changing it a little and renaming it.
FWIW, lots of cars still runs RS-A as OEM equipment. From CVPI to Infiniti M. Why? Because it costs Goodyear little to make since its been around so long, and meets the specs of manufacturers for ride and handling characteristics.
The Eagle F1 Supercars on the 12S have great grip and handling. But I know mine will be junk at 20,000 miles.

The RS-A was the OEM tire that came with my parent's '95 Chevy Lumina LS. Utter crap tires then, not much better now. Absolutely awful sidewalls that squirmed way too much and just a poor performance tire in general...

FWIW:
I happened to be on a long straight piece of road with little or no traffic this afternoon.
Tried three full throttle launches and three against the brakes launches.
No wheelspin whatsoever.
Asphalt paving, zero gradient as far as I could tell.
Maybe my SHO is a wuss, I don't really know, but boy does it scoot!!
