Eric found me on another local board and saw that my sho was up for sale. Got a new job pretty far away, figured it would be a shame to rack the miles on this 30k mile SHO. Plus want something that will still get mid 20's with a good amount of b2b traffic.
Anyways, Eric said he would take off the valve cover to see if the cams where welded for free this saturday. I am pretty much a neighbor to Eric only being one town over.
Even though Eric had a guy come for service from PA
he said he would still check out my car.:woo-hoo:
Eric could not be nicer. Pretty cool visit. Got to see a mint Rose Mist, first time I ever seen one in person. Pictures do not do the color justice.
He also answered a plethura of questions. I now understand fully about the cam failures amongst other things.
He checked out my cams. Unfortuntely, I am not welded. But he said it is clean as a whistle. If I change my mind and keep the SHO, I will definitely have it welded through him.
And last but certaintly not least. I got a ride in "Shorts", the M90 Powered SHO. What a cool and unique ride. Night and day difference between that and stock. Should have came from the factory that way. A prime example of a sleeper.
I thought I was a SHO enthusiast, but I realize now my enthusiasm pales in comparison to Eric's. He is a true SHO enthusiast.
Thanks again Eric, it was nice meeting you and your wife.
