New to the site, had probs. My BAD! I hope to be in the right place to tell you my SHO story, if you will. My ranger broke (FORD! my way). Looking to buy a ride, almost got a bmw, WHOA, STOP, JUNK!!!
Later, buddy told me of a car at the corner on the road I travel on day-day. BS, wasnt there 30m ago! I checked later and it was WHOA, STOP, YAH BABY!!! (But I will admit that I was not too 'familiar' with the SHO)
I needed wheels. Popped the hood on it and she was a done deal. WOW!!! That did it. Then I drove her. AWESOME!!!. Havent felt that kind of power since my Galaxy 500 days (her body died but her heart lives to this day, FORD FANS!)
Afterwards I noticed that the car I now own, for cheap, is more than appearence, but a whole lot of attitude! Had her almost year and hardly uses oil. Speaking of, its time. I did a burn-out once(or more), and what a surprise! She red-L at 7k in first doing 50mph. Good squawlllll! Hey if she gonna blow I rather know, then later. After that moment I decided to give this SHO car a show of its own.
For me she in mint. However not without her needing love to stay beautiful.
Learning much from site and thanks!
Dudes, I'm at 239973!! With the heart of nothing over 100k!! DAMN THOSE MOTOR MOUNTS FOR BEING SOOOO WEAK!!! Beside that, She be good to go. But that EDIS? or whatever? I B old skool. I will only keep her stock. Thats my thing and...
Its my SHO now!!!

LoL... sounds like your a bit excited about your new ride man! Welcome to your new disease.. (SHO ownership) This site is full of info, and people who can help ya fix anything you can break. Granted they will harass ya a little when ya break it, but that's just because they've broken it before too.

But at 239, you're about ready for some maintance work, but after you tune it up a little, you'll see how fast it really is. Good luck!

Welcome in a wonderful community.

The secret to enjoy a SHO is to have the maintenance up to date. And doing it yourself will save you alot. There's plenny of write-ups here to ease everything up if your not too much of a gearhead.
