Based on the level of excitement that has recently been generated, we
have been asked to go ahead and begin signing up for the May Event.
Also, it now looks like TWS will officially change the dates to May
7th and 8th (Saturday & Sunday).

At this time, no money is needed, but the sooner you sign-up, the
better your guarantee is of getting on the discount list, as TWS may
restrict it to XX number of drivers.

Therefore, to sign-up, please send an e-mail to Shing Lin
([email protected]) saying you would
like to attend the May TWS event. You can mention to Shing that you
heard about it from me so he knows who is who.

http://conecrazy.org/events/tws.htm has more information including a
link to the registration form. However, all you need to do is send
an e-mail to Shing. Also, you will find the website out of date and
a few items need to be corrected, but that will all be fixed shortly.

Start fixing things, start saving money, and prepare to have a great
time!

the website says up to 16 drivers, is that the limit for the number of people? That seems a bit low...

It's low for the entire track, but there are many other groups and individuals who will be coming. Therefore, there will be well over 50 drivers that weekend, making a full 3 paddocks. I have been there where there weren't any spaces, but was lucky enough to have found the last space...otherwise, it looked like it really sucked being out in the sun...

Paul, I just saw that you and Jay are now on the list...they went to 18 people...this is the most that group ever had registered to go to TWS.

Thanks to everyone who signed up...it's gonna be a blast!

We have 9 people from the SHO group signed up, with a few bringing something other than a SHO, so I would say about 6-7.

well, I'm late to the party but I just got my tire situation worked out, wasn't sure if I'd have anything but steel belts to drive on.
I sent Shing an e-mail, If I'm too late than I guess I'm too late...

You guys can always send an e-mail to Shing Lin ([email protected]) requesting to participate in the May Event. The least he will do is put you on the standby list, in case someone bails out, or he can simply tell Jack that we are having participation at record levels and ask for more slots...

Also, at the worst, if you cannot get in to the event under the ConeCrazy umbrella, you will still be able to sign up under the Texas World Speedway website, under the Motorsports Club link and pay $250.
