went to the track tonight got in 2 runs in 4.5 hours. They soaked they entire water box and the area around the water box, so I had to drive through the damn water box and long story short the cars spins and pulls all the timing out resulting in some ****** ****** times . I was really hoping to be able to get some nice times but oh well. The only good news is the car picked up 24.5 mph on the big end so it's making a **** of a lot more power with the downpipes. But when your 1/8 mile time is a 9.1 at 80 mph there is no where to go but up smh.

Had the same experience last summer. I asked them to leave room to drive around the water but they didn't. I tried to drive around but I think water got on my right side tires. When I made my run that way, it seems the system detected a fault and when it shifted to second, it felt like neutral. I let off thinking I broke something but within several second it was back to normal. So my next run I drove right through the water center to the staging. Then I got chewed out for not doing a burnout and dragging water to the staging area. I argued and then left.

Sounds like you and I went to the same place. Really frustrating.

What sucks is how everybody was talking trash about how my buddies Lightning was going to slay me. Well they were right. He ran 12.9 @ 105. I'm the faster car and I hate I couldn't show the crowd what a sho can do.

We waited 3 hours to run. Then got rushed through and had to drive through a water box. It was bad. I emailed the owner this morning and of course haven't heard back.

Find another less busy track. Here around Detroit, I quit driving the 90 miles to Milan to get 4 runs in 6 hours, and now I drive 25 miles to a small strip that lets me get 20-50 runs, basically as many as I want.

Hello Ron,
First of Very nice SHO!
Looking at your photo I occurs to me that the early gen SHO is so modern...
IF they had modern wheels and tires they would fit in with the current mil.

It would be nice to have more options. My closest tracks are Brainerd, MN and Rock Falls, WI. Both are professionally operated and offer a great experience. I just don't like that they are both 2 hours from the Twin Cities. I envy you guys who have tracks close to where you live.
