temperature question

Ok so I have a 95 atx... when I'm cruising on the freeway doing about 70 or so the temperature gauge is right between the "a" and "l".

Does this mean it's not getting to the right temperature or is this what 192 degrees looks like?

when on the highway you are going to run at a lower temp as more air is being forced through the radiator and fan. when im on the highway my temp guage stays below the L
but I have removed my ac condencer and dont have the trans cooler. So i wouldnt worry about it i would start to get conserned when it starts going the other way.

Ok thanks. I think I'm just paranoid with this car cuz it just cost me a lot of money to do some major maintenance on the engine.
