Ok I don't know if it is my guages but I wana ask you guys cause hey everyone here is a guru of the SHO with lots of knowledge that I wana know too! Ok when I leave the car sitting the temp guage will go all the way up to the o or around there sometimes evern higher but when the car is running the gauge stays just barley above the blue line what is going on here where should the needle be normally and is this issue cause by a faulty ECT, T-stat or the temp gauge sender? Thanks

It could be the thermostat, but most likely it is the temp sending unit. Notoriously fail to give low readings. Popular opinion says that at normal operating temperature cruising down the highway, the gauge should read anywhere from the M to the A. At idle, the cooling fan will usually turn on around the N or the O.

Sounds pretty normal to me.

When the car is sitting still, there is no air movement through the radiator until it gets warm enough to kic the fan on.

Mine never makes it past the "R", but normally sits around the "M". I also have an LPM that kicks the fans on earlier.

I have replaced the ECT on this car twice and the guage sending unit once.

my guage after going for about 20 min drive the guage doesn't even get CLOSE to the L. I think the sender is gone so do you guys recomend that i replace the T-stat, ECT, and the sender i think all these is still under 25 30 bucks and i do the wrenching my self of course. The engine doesn't seem hot but before i replaced the o2 senosrs tho the engine or maybe just the intake manifold would get VERY hot. Thanks

The only way to find out if it's "hot" is to measure the temperature. Guessing won't cut it.

As I said before, your initially reported indications are normal.

The position of the needle after the ignition key is turned to OFF is not an operability concern. The gauge requires power to function.

Make sure that the system is operating normally. Your statement that the needle stays "just barley above the blue line" is of concern. When operating, does the needle move into the "NORMAL" range; above the lower white tick mark? If the temperature indicates below the lower white mark of the NORMAL range after at least 3 minutes of operating, the thermostat may not be opening fully. A new thermostat would correct this.

With the climate control set to anything other than OFF, VENT or FLOOR (A/C compressor will operate), does the radiator fan run continuously? If not, there is a problem with the fan motor or its control circuit.
