any and all engine teardowns are pretty simple. just look at what needs to be removed, and remove it. track your nuts, bolts, and other small items. if you strip a head, mark each valve (#1Ea = Cylinder 1 Exhaust Valve A[A being closer to the front of the engine]). keep the locks with the same valve as well as mark your valve shim buckets, shims, and valve springs.

this is where Ziploc bags, masking tape, and a Sharpie become your friend.

the Haynes manual is also a good tool to have if something should stump you.
