Do you want to drain the cooling system?
There is a plastic drain valve on the drivers side but the plastic shield needs to be removed. On the passenger side there is a 1" hose that tees into the larger lower radiator hose. Disconnect this and all the coolant will quickly flow out. It is accessible without removing the plastic shield.
