That does look sharp. I think I need to do it as well! Can you spell out the process for me and what supplies I may need. I might try to do it this weekend along with the brakes. Any tips would be great, thanks!

I have some thing similar. But it leaves the bulb holders alone and turns the turn signal into a brake light. Very easy to do. Yo need to run a wire from the switched side of the brake switch up to an unused terminal on the MFS.

I definately would like to paint the tail lights some time. The brown plastic really does look odd when the sun hits it just right.

Do you have any ideas on a paint that would hold up well for that? I would like to do the same but I cant really think of anything that would last long term.

The nightshades works very well. I have my side markers compeltely shaded out, tailights are evry lightly shaded. Just about three light coats each. Enough to where you can still tell it is a red light during the day, but the brown is completely invisible. The reverse lights I am doing soon as well, probably about 4 or 5 light coats on those so they are a hair darker than the tails.

Thanks

Italian SHO, thanks for taking the time to post all the detail. I put 97 Sedan lights in my 97 SHO (same Red / Red ). I haven't played with the wiring but am considering it.

I may go grab one more from the junkyard (I bought 3 today) and redo it leaving the largest tab intact.

Note that the way I modded mine is different than how you did yours. On mine, both lights do all the functions - parking, brake, and turn. I see that how you did it only the outer light does the turn signals.
