Check with any supplier of aftermarket crash and repair parts.

The gaskets are the same as for any Taurus of similar vintage.

If nothing else, silicone rubber works to seal the old ones and to keep the truck dry. They're just a PITA if you have the remove hte essembly later.

Steve and/or Louis,

What is the gasket material, and can it (or a workable substitute) be purchased for making replacements? rangerj

I have a new one that I could make a pattern from. They are made out of 1/4" tkick or so foam rubber. Have you tried Ford Parts Network?

The PO bought a set for my car back in '99. I think these are the part numbers and descriptions:

E7DZ*13A495*B SEAL RR LM
E7DZ*13A495*A SEAL RR LP

I'm not sure of the quanities needed because I have different amounts on different papers. I'm not 100% that these are the lamp seals either, I just know that they were replaced and this sounds correct to me. shrug

I just bought 2 new tail light gaskets through my local Ford dealer in April!! They had to order them in, but they were available. thumb The part number they ordered was E7DZ-13A495-A, SEAL RR 268219. List was $7.40 each. It's the main part of the gasket, but doesn't replace the smaller gasket for the side marker light part of the tail light. It definitely fixed the water leak I had. :D
