Ok heres the story. I was drivng behind a stang who was brake checking me and was coming really close to my bumper. So at the stop sign I gun it i shift into second and the tires break loose then the rev limiter kicks in. This is not my car its my dads and i didnt know what was going on so i shut it off and pull into a parking lot. When I shut it off the tach needle went totally around through the red and now is stuck under the peg that the needle rests on. Is there something I can do so that the tach will work again. Its a 91

Any and all replies will be much appreciated

You need to bang your car up aginst the rev limiter in 1st gear to get the needle back down. You could also disassemble the instrument panel and just manually push the needle over.

The first method is more fun and quicker..
