Swish and squeek when accellerating

When I am in a higher gear in my 2011 SHO and start to accelerate I can hear a hissing sound then a squeak (like a tennis shoe on a basketball court) before it feels like I am engaged properly. This problem gets worse in hot weather. Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum! Does your SHO have a performance tune in it? Other than your "engaged properly" comment, it almost just sounds like the turbo spooling up and then the blow off valve releasing.

So what exactly do you mean by "engaged properly"?
