There's nothing to be gained from removing the rear swaybar. As for the front, you might see an increase or decrease in wheelhop, but no other effects from that either. in reality, for the work it takes, I don't see any benefits.

If you're betting a lot of money on a race, I would hope you're confident enough in your ability to win, to not be worried about something so trivial as swaybars. You're better off removing seats, spare tire, jack, etc.

And if the car gets a bit squirrly as you approach the traps at close to 3 digit speeds???? Yeah, I know, I'm no fun. But I'm still alive.

The trick of unhooking the sway bar was only for rwd cars so more weight would transfer to the back for more traction. But that only works to a certain et because the faster and the fastest cars, stay perfectly flat during launching. So it wont work on fwd or a real fast rwd b/c that could potentionally pull the front wheels up. But on a slower rwd, say 11 sec., youd be fine.

Basically, dont worry about it cuz its a waste of time.

With both my front endlinks torn off, I found there to be a noticable increase in wheel hop and 1-2 shifts were a bit more messy (as far as traction & keeping the nose straight). Otherwise, handling sucked. :p If you want to go faster, grab Midwest's front chain-down kit. :salute:
