Swapping 91 Dash to 89

I have a question. My friend has a wrecked 91 with a perfect black interior. I have an 89 SHO and I'm thinking about selling it to him. He wants to know if everything from the 91 interior will fit into the 89. I told him everything would work but the dash might be hard. Can this be swapped? Will the 91 cluster then fit in the 89 with the swapped dash? How hard will this all be? Thanks for your help.

The entire dash will fit. I would change the harness with the dash though since there are several electrical differences between the '89 and the '90-'91 dash.
