i have a 3.0 MTX with 129,000 miles on it. i found a 3.2 with about 59,000 miles for $400. first of all is that a good deal?
I'm looking for a newer engine because im looking forward to boosting it and building the **** out of it so is 59,000 low enough to boost and race safely?
Last thing....what do i need to do in order to put the 3.2 into my MTX? Mods? Parts? Whatever?:thankyou:

On the deal, yes $400 for a 59k 3.2L is a steal. You still need to replace the rod bearings though.

On the 3.2L MTX swap, everything you need to know can be found here:

Thanks and damn that was quick!.....but most importantly, is it safe to boost/race with that kind of mileage?

It's as safe as the weakest link in the chain.
IIRC There's boosted cars w/ over 200k, it's what you ask of it, and can you repair it yourself.

Don't get ahead of yourself there. Search for all the info you'll ever need here. There are a lot of good people around that can/will offer their help and advice.
