Just want to pass along that Dan is a great source for the SHO community. I have bought several times from him now, and he is simply great to deal with. And was more than fair on our last encounter.

Thanks Dan. I hope to buy from you soon. :thumb:

Could you be more specific at what was involved in the transaction?

Good parts, what parts?

Good price, how much?

Good shipping, how fast?

Sorry, I will try to give some details.

I bought some timing covers, that were shipped in about 2 days.

I bought some valve covers and a spare intake, that I actually picked up, as I was in Pittsburgh. And have intentions of buying a rear bumper, if I can figure out how to fit it in something. And some performance parts, if he gets a few of the cars that he is speaking of buying.

And as luck would have it, I was re-introduced to Dan about 4 months ago. When I realized that he is who I bought one of my first SHO's from over 4 years ago. That was when I lived in Pittsburgh.

As for prices, I will not list what I paid. I do not feel that is fair to anyone. But I will say that almost every part I picked up, I looked for in either the classifieds or in want to buy forums. And Dan's prices were lower than anyone else offered to sell the same quality parts for.

Like many of you, I've had my dealings with Ford Motor Company and would just as soon avoid their prices. I've turned to the internet to obtain replacement parts for my 89.

I've worked on cars for too many years and have noticed that sometimes if the original part that came on the car still works then it is just as likely to continue working. Also, sometimes brand new parts fail.

A lot of stuff from the junk yard will work fine.

Try Dan Barbush at [email protected]. He was quite helpful and knowledgeable.

Thank you Dan

Dan is the Man

I bought a few things from Dan before, it's been at least a year now, but I have him marked down as an A+ vendor. Two of the items I purchased were mint leather back seat cushions, which obviously aren't the easiest things in the world to ship, but he worked it out (Greyhound shipping) and a few days later I had them in hand with absolutely no problems. :salute:

I too have had numerous dealings with Dan. Including timing covers, lower door cladding, and those little metal strips along the body of the car that tend to rust out.
Great guy to deal with. :thumb:
