i'm currently talking with a local (western NY) performance shop about starting a group buy on some performance suspention for the GEN 1 and 2 taurus, this is just a interest thread. so would anybody be looking to buy, obviously the more people the cheaper the product and also what combo of suspention would you want the group buy to be for?

I have the intrax/tokico spring/strut combo and I love it with a passion the intrax springs lower the car 1.5" in the front and 1" in the rear giving your car that agressive look. and the tokico strust can be a bit rough if you live in a place where the streets arn't so good but they really handle great. so give me some feed back are you interested? and what combo would you prefer?

I'm interested. When will this take place? any time after next month would be great. tokico/intrax would be ok here. Could eibach's be a possibility? Would i have any problems with the rear tires rubbing on my 89 now that I have 17x7in rims on there (I didn't shave the rear lip up to the spot welds and they fit fine)??

i'm not sure if you would have any rubbing issues but if your not rubbing now it shouldent be a issue but even if you do have to do some minor modification it would be very well worth it.

Eibachs / Tokicos, Intrax / Koni, personally. If you consider Konis, you'll need to consider the 2 different strut tube lengths (and the corresponding 2 different Koni numbers). It'd also be great if the Koni buy-ins could be pre-installed in core housings, for drop-in swaps.

Plan on offering rear strut mounts as well as new bellows. Front strut mounts / bearing plates would be welcome as an option too.

I don't really want to get into the konis because a bolt up group buy would greatly simplify things, I'll talk with the shop about the konis and see if they have expierence with them.

so 2 interested in springs/strust and one in a set of springs, the strut mounts, bearing plates, and bellows would all be optional but there needs to be more interest than this to get a kick *** price, its still early lets let the thread ferment for a few days and see what it looks like :)

maby intrax or eibachs (have less of a drop than intrax probably better for cars driver in the snow) with tokicos

Yeah, if the price is good for intrax/tokico spring/strut combo. I'd be in.

I might be interested - Intrax/koni's preferred but will consider Intrax/Tokico's. Probably need strut mounts as well.

ok here is the pricing

Individual Orders:
225 shipped for the intrax springs
469 shipped for the tokico struts

219 shipped for the intrax springs - if we get 5+
449 shipped for the tokico struts - if we get 5+

If we get 10 orders for either part I can get the price down more.

Local pickup would be available for people who want it. I'd take off the shipping charge for them.

local pickup is near buffalo NY, so if there is at least 5 people interested I will start the GB
