Suspension removal and half shafts?

Almost done with 3.2 and tranny swap. I need to know If you can reuse the clips that go on the end of the halfshafts the hold them in the diff? I think it says to remove in the book but I'm not sure if you need to or where I would get them. I called the local dealer and said that they weren't carried individually just as boot replacement kit or something. Any insight would rock.

I reused mine when I replaced the clutch. I believe the official stance is to replace them anytime the axles are removed from the transmission. I'll look into it.

i reused them and never had a problem

Check with an auto parts store like NAPA for new ones. The cir-clips can be reused if they are not bent or otherwise deformed. If they are straight and will compress into the slot when squeezed with your fingers, they should be OK. If there is any distortion at all they must be replaced. rangerj
