I swear when I drive at a constant speed that I can feel the car surging slightly. Kinda like someone is restricing fuel flow or something. The only time I really notice it is when I'm at a constant speed. Like 4th gear at 2,000rpm. Feels like lifting off the throttle in 3rd gear at like 3,500rpm. Anyone know what I mean? Is this a prelude to a fuel pump failure or clogged filter? Is this hurting my motor? Maybe causing it to run too lean?! (Dear god I hope not)

Comments, suggestions?

check ur plugs. what plugs are you using? are you using the motorcraft agsp32pp? your plugs might be failing and therefore missing.

Thanks guys, will try that within the next few days... If I end up waiting till next weekend do I risk doing any damage to the motor?

nah. you should be alright. just don't let it go. A misfiring plug will cause pure gas to dump through the cylinder therefore dumping it into the cats making them crumble and maybe even being sucked back into your engine which then goes kabluey. but that's the worst case :D .
