Started a few days ago but only was really noticeable last night, i was driving out to work and anything under nieth the secondarys bascily my car surges ********, even when i was on the highway with the cruze set to 80 mph, the car speeds up and slows down ever so slightly the entire time.

1)My DIS is cracked, could that have something to do with it.
2)When cleaning out my plug wells, I cracked a hard vacuum line, and replaced it with soft line, should i recheck over my vacuum lines.

Thanks for any help.

Yes definitely check codes may be a burnt out bulb. (who knows) Definitely check vac lines. If you get no codes your plug wires probably need replaced??

Check the codes and check the more likely suspects you will be pointed towards after you post them here.

In the end it was the fuel pump that was causing my surging problem many many moons ago. But there are several more likely suspects. Just keep the fuel pump in mind if nothing else works.

Yeah it definately sounds like an ignition problem... but experience beats expertise any day... also even if the CEL isn't on, your car can still set codes.

OK, the codes I think ive gotten:
KOEO
11 System checks ok

13 ISC did not respond properly (extends to touch throttle then retracts for KOEO)

33 EGR did not open/ respond during test or if memory code, did not open intermittently

KOER
21 Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor out of range - ECT

33 EGR did not open/ respond during test or if memory code, did not open intermittently

77 System did not receive "goose" test

Could it be the EGR causeing my surging, and what is the ISC.

ISC should be the thing you always hear called the IAC - Idle control valve. ISC=Idle speed control??? I'm not 100% on that, but based on the code description, that would appear to be the item. Take it off ands clean it at least. Make sure it is not stuck and make sure the solenoid moves when you apply 12v to it.
