surgeing and missing

91 sho surging and missing in 1st and 2nd for the most part but will surge in 3rd and 4th but dont seem to be missing??? any help i have replaced cps dis or is it dsi just had 60k done on it replaced plugs and wires.one other thing ac compressor is gone is there a dummy pulley i can replace it with?

Pull your codes and see what pops up! Even if your not getting a CEL doesn't mean anything! And report back so we can help you out!

You can gut the ac compressor; try cleaning the MAF sensor, as it will surge if it gets contamination on it. CHeck fuel pressure at schrader valve if that does not solve it as fuel pump could be dying.

found dummy pulley at advanced auto for $33 as soon as i get it on i well go down and see if any codes come up. no cel on but what the **** worth a try . where is maf sensor located ?

It's mounted right on top of your airbox lid. Unplug the MAF, take the airbox lid off, take the intake tube off and spray the sensor with electronics cleaner.
