I recently got a supercharger kit for my 93 MTX 3.0 and was wondering if anyone could provide some tips for the install. It is the kit where a shaft drives the S/C which sits on the driver's side of the engine. From what I can tell, it has all of the necessary hardware, but I just need some more detailed information to get it in. I live about 90 miles from LA, so if there is anyone in SoCal that has this setup, I would be more than happy to make the drive down to get this thing squared away. I tried doing some research on past posts, but couldn't find what I was looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I live in the Antelope Valley (about 90 minutes North of LA). I got the kit from Ebay and it has the Vortech S/C, a Vortech FMU, a Turbonetics Raptor Blow-off Valve, the shaft, and the necessary plumbing.

First, join SHOCal.

Ask Lupo, he lives in LA and has an S/C'd SHO.

the original poster stated the s/c kit he purchased was the shaft drive style, which is not what lupo has, so I"m not sure how much help he'll really be..

Brian (Lupo) is a pretty knowledgeable guy. Judging by his fabrication work (You should see the Caged, SHO powered Ranger Jump competition truck at his shop) and a few other things that I saw when I visited his shop a few years ago, I'm more then sure Brian could figure this one out. ;)
