From the service manual:

1. To remove roof sliding outer glass panel, remove three roof sliding panel opening shield (50988) front retaining screws.

2. Slide roof sliding panel opening shield and roof sliding panel headlining fully rearward to expose six roof sliding outer glass panel retaining bolts (three each side).

3. To remove roof sliding panel headlining, remove roof sliding outer glass panel retaining bolts and washers.

4. Push glass up from inside vehicle and remove. Take care not to scratch glass or roof paint.

5. Slide roof sliding panel opening shield and roof sliding panel headlining forward halfway across roof sliding panel opening shield opening.

6. Lift roof sliding panel opening shield to clear roof sliding panel headlining.

7. Push roof sliding panel opening shield fully rearward.

8. Slide roof sliding panel headlining fully forward.

9. Lift front on roof sliding panel headlining, slide forward and rotate 90 degrees to remove.

To get all of mine off I had to take it out, and was a real pain to scrape all that stuff off. I used lots of paint thinner to soften the glue

Youre probably going to have to install it through the top, so you have to remove the sun roof glass... make sure you DONT STRIP the screws, cause it will suck a lot

mines ripped, whenever I'm waiting I scratch pieces of it off haha... just trying to get it back to black plastic if anything, but it needs more attention

also i've had my sunroof opened before, but the last couple times I used it it would kind of bind... and my cover piece is also bound up and not right..... its like its off track or something.... Ireally need to tear into it and see what happened. I've just never messed with sunroofs before and I don't want to get into something that will take me more then a day....

thx for sharing some instructions

diagrams or pictures would be great, guess I"ll have to search a lot
