Sunroof seal? Sunroof doctor doesn’t stock anymore…

Any one replace a sunroof seal on a gen 1 recently? What did you use? Sunroof doctor doesn’t carry the seal anymore.

F4SZ-6351884-A is the glass assembly seal. I checked Green Sales Co, no obsolete parts shipped there. Nor eBay.

The doctor website through the wayback machine first had a tube of adhesive, then it had one with adhesive strip already applied.

The doctor website takes you to a Buick Park Avenue strip when you pick taurus after their redesign 2019 (but can't be ordered). An error, or could it be compatible? Here's the Buick part in stock in Portland:

'94 Tbird is the same just have to cut to length.

The one piece rubber seal always has a gap when installed, usually on the leading side of the unit (nearest the windshield). The tap gets bigger over time. If you put a piece of electricians tape over the gap, you get rid of the wind noise.

Every Ford sunroof from the general era of you car has the same sunroof and seal, so you might get one from a wrecking yard, or at least a chunk large enough to repair what is wrong with yours.

Leaks are usually associated with the "under the roof" pan and the associated 4 drain tubes (one on each corner). The front 2 drain into the rocker panel and the rear tubes exit near the rear wheels. Usually you can open up these drain tubes with something flexible being placed in the tube and shoved along. Something like an old time speed-o-meter drive cable.

I have used Trimmer Line to unclog gunk from the tubes also.
Then flush them with water until cleared out.

Compressed air at 90-100 PSI also works well unless the stuff is really cemented in.

So mine is leaking when fully closed at the back. I can put my hand right under the roof and feel a rain slightly dripping through. I can also hear wind noise from that section. I never really looked at it closely, just assumed it was a seal issue. Could it be alignment?
