I'm not sure of this that is why I made this post up. I just bought a 1992 Mtx and it is in very good condition. It has the stock subwoofer hooked up to the radio, but it is definitely blown. I have 2 Pioneer Subwoofers and a Pioneer Amplifier. I'm wondering if there is a way to connect these to my stock radio and run them with no problem. I would like to know so I wouldn't have to pull the car apart to find out. Would it be better to just buy a new cd player for this car?

Ive done this before, when I didnt want to put any money into one of my shos.... It had a blown jbl sub.... what i did was cut the speaker cable that comes out of the jbl sub amp and splice it into a line level to rca converter (circity sells them), then just wire up the amp like you normally would, with the turn on lead spliced into the stock radio's turn on, which is the red wire if i remember correctly.... do not try to splice into the antenna turn on or the stock amp turn ons since they are 6 volts and wont turn on your amp. Set your gains all the way down on your amp and on the line level converter and go from there. Also if you just had a small 10 inch sub or something you could splice it into the jbl sub amp for a tempory fix.... I did that for a while, but it wasnt enough bass for me.
