I just bought a 95 SHO w/ the JBL package, i have after market sub's and an amp i would like to install but keep the factory ones also, so my questions is can i tap in to the stock remote and audio wires? If so dose anyone have some wire colors or instructions? And if i cannot tap into the car harness dose the JBL CD player have preamp outputs to run my amp? Or do i have to get a after market head unit?

Well you can use the factory remote power wire ,thats going back to the black speaker amp, should be dark blue. There is also a small harness going from the black amp to the silver sub amp has 3 wires in it you can use if your gonna keep your stock speaker amp. It has 3wires, black wire remote wire, clear shielded wire positive, bare wire negative. You probably want to run new power and ground wire for your sub amp though. The factory radio and cd player doesn't have preamp outputs, it just sends a low level preamp signal back to the factory jbl amp, which then it sends a signal to the jbl sub amp.

I know the small wires cant push my amp, so i was gonna run like a 4 gauge wire straight to the battery, Fused of course! I just need to know how to i can tap into the remote, and you explained that well! Now what do i do for the RCA cables? Do i have to get a crossover or is there another way?

Well no the wiring that comes from the black jbl amp to the silver jbl amp is already a preamp low level signal. The line output converter takes a high level signal and converts it to a low level signal so you can take like speaker wires and put those into the line output converter and convert them to a low level signal you can use for an amp.

The wires coming from the black jbl amp to the silver jbl amp, are already low level, the black remote, the clear positive, the bare negative, you can add rca ends to each wire and have a positive and negative low level signal, thats what I did. Or you can take the wires from your rear speakers left and right side, and go from there into the line output converter. Then from the line output converter to your amp, it converts the higher level speaker signals into low level signal which you can use for an amplifier.
