Had my 92 in the dealer today for the recall and was just curious how long this usually takes. They were done with the car in less than an hour. In the recall arnt there supposed to be some access holes drilled in the floor to access the rear subframe bolts? Just curious cause I want to make sure they did the recall and didnt cut corners. None of my experiences with them have been good.

My old service reciept says .6 hours, it sounds about right. I wish I could have done mine that quick. Lifts FTW.

They arn't replacing the bushings either, just putting new bolts and nuts in. That speeds it up a bit.

The amount of rust damage also has a factor. I broke the head off the first bolt, and the washer was rusted to the rest of the bolt. That was a whole lot of die grinding/angle grinding/air chiseling fun!!:oogle:

they did replace the bushings on mine, said since they were damaged by the affected part they replaced them. of course they were stock and cracked less than a year later but thats beside the point lol. i've heard most dealers won't replace them though. i guess i got lucky. funny, that particular dealer is now out of business. and FYI it took less than a hour for my car as well.
