I want to get the alsfb but Im nto sure if I need a recall kit or not. My car has had the recal done but how do I know if I need another recall kit for the front?:thumb:

Usually its only the rear thats mostly needed.

Worst in the rust belt area. Best thing is to look at it once in hand , send us a pic!

If the bolts are rust pitted their strength has been greatly compromised. The original frame nuts are definetly real crappy and prone to spinning on removal if rusted. There is'nt a rule that says you need to use the upgraded ford fasteners. You need to consider reasonably high grade fasteners that don't need to be metric to make a safe fit.

the recall kit has a lot beefier captured nuts, and besides new hardware is always much nicer to work with. my 92 and 95 have had the rears replaced on the recall, and when i put the ASFBs in i went ahead and replaced the front hardware as well. the kit was around $20 from ford.
