Subframe bushing recall kit problem

This has happened to me twice now. I install the upper recall kit nut and when I go to thread the bolt in there, it cross threads! These are pilot-end bolts too! Anyone else have this happen?

I've installed a couple of them and have never crossthreaded them.

Upon closer look, if the recall nuts sit just slightly uneven, it happens. D'oh! Looks like i'll have to be more careful next time!
