I just got the clutch replaced in my 90 sho and now the sub-frame shifts side to side when I turn, start off or just spin the wheel back and forth. You can see the motor move and the clearance between the DIS and the torque limiter is zero now(gonna break that too!)I know it's not suppose to do that. So, what is wrong? Are the SFBs installed incorrectly or what? They clunk and pop alot and I'm worried the sub-frame is gonna hit the ground going the road; the bolts are tight though. Has anyone had this problem and found a cure? any suggestion would appriciated.
I really don't want to deal with the guy who put the clutch in anymore! I will be taking my future business elsewhere. Thanks in advance.

Check the motormounts at the subframe. Those holes are double the size of the bolt that goes thru them. Make sure they are tight.

Those 18mm subframe bolts are supposed to be torqued to about 75 lb-ft. When the subframe moves, the alignment is changed. The alignment tech may have to move the subframe to help center the camber between the struts if the adjustability of the upper tower mounts is used up. It is quite normal to need the car realigned after a transmission or clutch job.

Yes also to note is that there are alignmenbt holes on the front of the subframe that you can use threaded rod to line it up then tighten the subframe bolts. If this is done from the get go then everytime you remove the sub frame you can line it back up without the need of an alignment.
