sub doesnt work

I have a 1995 and the stock stereo is still in it the speakers work but not the sub

First, check the trunk, pull down the cardboard cover to reveal the back seat, you should see the black and silver amp behind that cover. If they are there and the sub is plugged into the silver amp, then check the sub separately via another source. If you get sound out of the sub then your sub amp is likely blown.
Just because a stock HU is in the car doesnt necessarily mean it was the one the car came with and therefore may not be connected correctly, although I doubt this is the case, just keep that in mind.
Go to that step and see what you come up with, then we can go from there.

everything is hooked up to the head unit I can tell the head unit has never ben out until i pulled it out I think the amp is blown

are you 100% sure it's not working? keep in mind it's at the very newest a 16 year old 6.5" sub in a box that's waaaaay too being fed a horrible 6 ohm signal from a low powered source. it may be working just fine. it was never designed to issue forth skull-shattering bass.

I know that Ive been working with stereos for arround 10 years but I found that the amp was fried. Its just old
