Stuttering problem

My wifes SHO has 130,000 miles on it and still runs well. She was complaining of the car feeling like it wants to stall under acceleration and also sometimes in traffic...the idles starts flucuating like its gonna stall and when she hits the gas it does not immediately respond. I swapped the fuel filter which was due and put new plugs and wires on it. It seemed fine for a couple days and then started again. Not getting any codes.....I did not notice the plugs were very lean but I was guessing it was the partially clogged fuel filter causing it. Anyone have any ideas? Maybe time for a fuel pump?

I would be suspect of maybe a faulty IAB valve and TPS, also, how old are the o2 sensors?

What is the IAB valve? 02s probably have around 60-70k on em

You may have a vacumn leak. How are the couplers on the runners? How is the hose between the throttle body and MAF?

Does the problem happen all the time, or is it ittermitant?

And on a side note. Your sig say you ran your stock 92 at 14.6 and a 2.09 60' time??? How in the world did you get such a low 60' time without DR's? I don't think I've ever seen such a low one for a stock SHO.

It is VERY intermittant. It actually has not had any problems in about a week now. Last time was a week ago while my wife was in a drive through.....felt like it was going to stall, hit the gas no change....then its fine


MAsho SERIOUSLY slipping the clutch. I ran a bunch of 15.0 passes with 2.2-2.3 60 foot times....I knew a good 60 would get my 14 sec pass so I left around 3800 slipping it hard and nailed the launch. I tried again and ran 1 2.07 60 foot but broke an axle on the 1-2 powershift.
