Inform them that you have been inconvenienced quite a bit. (sight the examples) Explain that while you 'understand' that there are extenuating circumstances that you are in dire need of the transportation. Ask them to supply you with a free loaner car (that is not a beater) until they can rectify the problems--or--refund your monies. If they are really upstanding they will respond positively, be prepared to actually walk away from the entire car deal. If they don’t respond in a timely, positive manner…determine if there is a way you can publicize (legally) their lack of cooperation and advise them of it.
