How do i remove the front door panels on a 94? i removed the 5 screws but i cannot figure out how to get the door panel off of the door itself. i am afraid to pull too hard in fear of breaking something. Thanks!

Be gentle. You can easily break the parts of the door where the retainers are held. The colder it is, the easier they'll break. It might be worth it to pick up a door trim tool, like this - http://www.autozone.com/autozone/ac...ter=0&itemIdentifier=103001_0_0_&target=shelf

They do flex a little, but they are pretty brittle at the same time. when I was taking mine off, I found it easier to start with top left (on drivers side) or top left (on passenger side) get that corner started and work down going around the perimeter of the door skin. keep your hands close together when doing that, if they are too far apart while pulling it will almost certainly break. You can tell if its about to break or not, just be super gentle and TAKE YOUR TIME.

I have always had good luck starting with the bottom corner farthest from the hinge, but I've only pulled panels on 1st gen cars.
There are 8-ish clips on the doors (can't remember exactly) They all look like this:
The head slips into a notch in the door panel itself. The feathered post sticks into a hole in the metal inner door skin.
By feel, you should be able to figure out where each clip is. Put a hand on either side of each clip and pop them off one at a time.
If you get a puller tool don't get a really cheap one. If you can bend it with your hands in the store it won't be useful on these doors. Some of the tools out there marketed as "door panel puller" tools are really best used to pop off the C-clip on window crank handles and aren't stout enough for popping a plastic peg out.
I don't know about the 2nd gen cars, but the front doors on a 1st gen have a total of six screws: Two behind plastic covers on the pull handle, two right above the map pocket, one behind the sail panel (so really two, as you have to pull one screw to see the one holding the panel) and one up near the door lock on the back edge of the panel.

^ Meant to say top left on the drivers side or top right on the passengers side worked for me.....as if you were looking at the door skin.
