Okay...I've dug around, searched, and read posts until my eyes are about to pop out of my head. What I'm trying to find out is if someone's actually dyno'd a V8 with the secondaries wired open to find out if there's ANY advantage/disadvantage to doing this. I don't car about cars with the XCal on em....just stock (or otherwise untuned). The only reason I wanna do this is so I don't have to replace another IMRC, cuz them damn things are expensive and a pain in the ass. I'd just as soon get rid of it. No flames, and no opinions. I just wanna know.

Thanks! :thumb:

Well unless you are doing the dyno at under 3200 rpm there would be no difference. How often are you at WOT and under 3K rpm????????

well our cars might have a tad bit more power under 3K if the secondaries were wide open. say from standing still at a light and you stomp the pedal to the floor it might help to have that little bit of ooomph. who knows thats a question ive always been wondering too...hmmm

Honestly it's been so long since I had functioning secondaries that I can't remember what it felt like.
