ok, i am tryin to take my headlight out so i can remove the silencer cone. i cannot figure out for the life of me how to get the headlight out. i took every screw i could see lookin at it head on. is there a screw behind the light or somethin?? also, can i get the cone out through the hole in the fender where it bolts up or do i have to pull the headlight out. P.I.T.A.!!

You don't need to take the headlight out to remove the silencer cone, just the side marker light which is held by one phillips screw and two 11mm nuts.

The headlights are secured by three clips in the rear of the headlight mounting panel. There are not any screws that have to be removed in order to remove a headlight.

really. cool, i am glad i pulled everything apart last night and wasted an hour of my time going no where. i actually pulled the corner light off but there was still the black plasting framing behind it and it didnt look like i could get it out. i guess ill give it another shot tonite.

If you still want to take you head light out (to polish it or somthing) first unplug and remove the headlight bulb (gives you some extra room) then there is a clip on the back of each adjuster screw (2 on top, 1 on the bottom) the clip hook into the sides of the adjuster and slide out from the top. Take a small screwriver and pop the legs loose from the sides and then slide it up. The bottom one is a pain (you and also use snap ring pliers to spread the clip). once all three are out you can just slide the headlight out without changing the adjustment of the light.
