OK heres my current symptoms of my car! I have a 94 ATX Iv done the 60K to it except the o2's. The car at low speed seems to **** sometimes even with the a.c off. Seems like it looses power sometime. And sometimes the transmission shifts funny. ::I dont know how to explain it:: And the gas milage seems sucky Right now I went about 160 miles and im on half a tank! I did clean out the IAC.Replaced the plug n wires. Replace the fuel filter. And when I check the codes it says system is clear! Oh and when idle'ing Sometimes it surges a bit! My secondaries are opening and closing. And it start's just fine!

What could this be? TPS?

Are the plug wells full of oil? If so, you might have ruined the new plugs and wires. If they arn't full keep an eye on them and replace the gaskets before they get full.

I also would suspect that you didn't install the proper plugs and wires.

When my o2's were bad I had similar symptoms as you are having. They are 12 years old and probably need to be replaced. Get the bosch ones, any other ones will cause problems..

I did motorcraft plugs and borgnwarner wires! And I replaced the gasket's so theres no oil :) And the cruise never cuts out it keeps at a idle speed! Im guessing im just gona have to start replacing sensor's tillI get the right one! On my last car it was the CID but it wasnt throwing a code either just hard to start but this car isnt hard to start!

Good plugs, but no so good wires in my opinion. I wouldnt be surprised if they could cause your problems.

Also, when did your problems start? Right after the 60K? Right after replacing wires? If you can narrow down when they started, and remember what you replaced right before the problems started, maybe you can narrow down your search rather than just replacing stuff.

I would get another set of wires on there...(motorcraft/AC Delco/Summit). I would also replace the o2's, and clean your MAF.

and also I cleared that code out last nite because I thought it was from when I changed my fuel filter I hit the fuel cut off switch causing the gas to be drained!

Hi, my 93 sho atx does the exact same thing and its driving me nuts! I also just had the 60k done, new plug seals, new valve cover gaskets....car seems to buck at low speeds and low throttle setings and when shifting....my o2 sensors were not replaced. I did get a new tps to try out i am going to put it on tommorow and see if that helps i will let you know.....Also can somebody tell me what to use to clean my MAF? dont want to mess it up........

Well sounds to me like your IAC is bad. Mine was frozen open and the car ran like absolute crap, it didn't like to start much either. Get a new one (or used, I'm using one from a 90 SHO on my 95) :).

I completely agree! Check the plug wells first, then the fitment of the wires, then the spark at the coil pack....then the O2s!!!

My car did that same exact thing till i changed both o2 sensors, the rear sensor is nearly impossible to get out without a special tool made specific for taking out the o2 sensor., i picked one up from the Mac tool guy one day. keep in mind about the spark plugs and wires though. i used the accel wires and they worked great. I only wish they made a Platinum 4 that worked in the SHO.

No codes? I was thinking a vacuum leak from a missing or damaged vacuum line or a poor seal at the intake-to-head gaskets.

OK I replaced my IAC soon as I started it to reset the idle it started misfiring so I turned it off unplugged the CID and it stoped? The RPMS climmed a little but no misfire? I pluged it back up and there were no misfire. So Im guessing I need to replace that? On another note when I got on it at a stop light there was a delayed responce in shifting from 2nd to 3rd. If the CID is going bad would that cause delayed shifting?
