Im looking into doing som work to my 93, (it reakly needs it to). Right now its just sitting for a tranny problem, but hopefully getting up NESho in tthe next few days. It needs all new coils, Stuts and Brakes. What would you guys suggest? I dont wanna lower it or anything, just good coils and struts. Any help would be appreciated!

The problem is that most of the performance coils will lower the car slightly (unless your car is already sagging in which case you may not notice.) You can get moog cargo coils, but they may actually raise the car. As far as struts go, koni's would be the way to go since tokicos have stopped being produced.

As far as brakes its really how much money you want to spend. You can go as simple as a pad upgrade to full blown bbk's (big brake kits) costings ~$1500 and requiring 17" wheels. I personally have Cobra Calipers over '96 rotors.

Well '**** you've started off in the right direction already by booking with Northeast SHO ( www.nesho.com ) and as they have helped me considerably in making choices from the number of options available to us, I ask you why not do the same yourself and ask them for suggestions?

Ultimately the decision on which system to go with will be yours, but they certainly have the experience to weed out the bad from the good before you drop a cent.

On my car we went with the Koni / Intrax combo. It didn't drop the car rediculously, and handles so much more suredly. My only complaint is having waited so long to do the upgrade.

Good luck with your car, hope to see it at one of the breakfasts soon! :thumb:

Cobra calipers over 11.6 rotors here... Great setup for the $$$ -- MUCH better than the 96 upgrade.
