Hello Everyone,
Quick question, will SHOSHOP's strut tower braces Front and rear fit from a '91 SHO onto my '95 SHO?
Thanks

The front should fit no problem, it's the rear that may not fit. If you have the JBL system in your 95, with the subwoofer, than you may be up Sh*t creek, otherwise, it should fit fine.

If it doesn't fit, I will buy the rear!

The SHO Shop STB's are designed to fit both Gen I & II. You just have to make sure you get the correct rear brace. If you have the factory JBL sub woofer, then you need the bent brace. If you don't have the sub, you need the straight brace.

Here is a pic of the front brace from the SHO shop on my 95. I think it comes in gray. I painted mine to match my car.

Does the front stb really do much for you? A two-point design, and already so close to the firewall, seems to me like it wouldn't be a big difference.

The rear would seem much more likely to be helpful as there isn't other structural metal nearby.

Curious,

The front one makes a huge difference. The car goes where you turn it. I didn't notice that much difference with the back one on.

the way the rear mounting bracket is made (L-shaped) there is too much play with everything so the rear doesn't do that much, you could do some work and see if you could weld some extra support to make it stronger.

Wow, I thought they both made a big difference, especially the rear. I don't know about not strong enough on the rear. It is pretty solid. The car does not seem to twist as much. I guess if you only drive your car 7/10's you might not notice a lot but I think they are definately worth it.

Alright, do the hood shocks have to be removed once the Front STB's are installed?

Yes, the hood struts must be removed. The SHO Shop ships you an aluminum hod prop rod as a means of holding up the hood.
