Strut Plate Spot Welds Broke

I am in the middle of replacing all four struts on my atx and on the front passenger side the strut plate came free or was free previously. It has recently had an alignment. What should I do with the plate? Do I leave it alone?

Put it back on and get an alignment. It is common to have the spot welds removed so that the front can be better aligned.
