i bought struts w/eibachs installed already (hated the gap) from a forum member (hotrodder) and i inspected them and all but cant get this noise to go away from the front left side . The sound sounds exactly how a BROKEN spring sounds when u lock the wheels left to right an i know an alignment is needed but i need to find the culprit first otherwise ill just remove them . Anything to look for ? I've reinstalled twice already......

If it's a popping noise when you turn them back and forth, it's probably the mounts. Have an assistant look at them while you are turning the wheel, and when it clunks, if you can visibly see the spring 'pop', it's the strut mount (make sure you get new bearings at the same time).

Thread Resurrection!! Same Problem on both sides
I replaced both front struts with the following:
New Sens-a-tracks and Intrax coils,
New Ingalls adjustable upper strut mount
New strut bearings
Car is a 1995 MTX with 3.2 swap

What gives?

As stated, usually noise is caused by the mounts. Bad struts manifest as a bouncy ride with some noise that is more squeaky than clunky. Bad springs make the car sag. Also, tie rods and links can make noise especially when turning the wheel.

All of that is brand new, including tie rods. I find it hard to believe I would have 2 complete brand new strut sets that are defective out of the box
Am I missing somenthing

It only makes the noise when turning the steering wheel, moving or stationary. It is definitely coming from the upper area of the strut passenger side in the video bu the car is not level. When it is level it is both sides

As a lifetime owner of Tokico struts, I found another source of a popping noise in the front suspension. It was sourced from the strut insert moving on the centering pin in the base of the strut housing. This was due originally to the incorrectly torqued nut securing the cartridge in the housing. It had come loose. I tightened the nut, but the wear had already occurred. Cornering would cause a popping noise that was annoying and embarrassing.

Check the large nut (3") tightness at the top of the housing. I tried to wrap the base of the inner strut cartridge with foil (incompressible) tape to create an interference fit of the cartridge in the housing, but it was only marginally successful.

I had to finally swap out the front struts. Man, I miss those Tokicos.

That sure sounds like either a bad strut mount or mis-assembly. Observe while stationary; you may be able to see the spring **** when the pop occurs. I've found aftermarket mounts to be hit of miss.
