I got this info from other threads. Can anyone tell me if these will match moog sprins on motorcraft struts for 1990? The info suggests not. I would imagine however that they do since the strut and spring are the same through the years, just making sure, thanks!

I do have the right part right? This sits between the springs and the top of the struts?

Front p/n E8DZ-5414-A $6.99 EACH (need 2)
Rear p/n F1DZ-5K617-A $6.99 EACH (need 2)

Thanks a lot!

The parts should fit all replacements because they should be made to the same sizes as the stock ones.
I don't know if you got the right part #'s though
They fit between the bottom of the spring and the strut perch.

You mean top of the spring right?

I think I found what I need but they are $16 instead... for some reason these parts come up under collision.

Strut mounts are what sit on the very top of a spring strut assembly and hold the spring on the strut. Strut isolators sit on the bottom between the bottom of the spring and the strut.

Hi. I have a receipt in front of me from last summer. It is from Ford parts:

E8DZ 5414 A INSULATOR - FR

It is sitting on the top of the spring before the strut encloses it!

I guess this answers my question as that part went on the front of my 90 so F1DZ-5K617-A should fit the rear.

I am confused by your answer!

Thanks!

I just realized I started 2 threads on this.

The cause of my confusion is probably because I meant INSULATOR not ISOLATOR :(

Sorry!
