striped valve cover bolt

my valve seal job was going good until i get to the back cover and notice there is a striped bolt :mad:

how the **** am i gotta get this out?





whoever had this car before me was such a tool, everytime i goto do something there is a striped bolt

Some have said that some well placed vice grips will get it out. Or, someone else has mentioned taking a smaller size torx bit and using some of that rubber cement to get the torx bit to become attached to the bolt.

i'll try the vice grips, it dont matter if the bolt is no good after, i got a whole nother set

:thumb: That was really quick with the picture. With the rust I've run into a few stripped ones myself.
