Noise-timing belt

Pretty sure the noise is slack in your timing belt most likely due to a bad hydraulic tensioner since it's an ATX car. The noise will get progressively worse.

Had that noise, replaced tensioner and timing belt, went away. Was surprised about how much quieter my car is now.

Still check the valve clearances though.

Its cheaper to check timing belt tensioner, if valve clearances need to be done, I can't afford it so I would have to park my car. My only transportation. There is no way I could afford to re-shim, $300 to get the kit is to much for me, even though I would get $250 back. I can't afford a new/used tensioner!
