While I drive, the power for the temp. control, the stereo and the dash keeps shutting off. I think it has something to do with the broken front motor mount but I am not sure. It will do it when I push in on the clutch to change gears and the motor hops. It will also do it over some bumps. The power doesn't shut off for long, it just acts like you turn the key off then on again. Any one have a suggestion?

Check all connections in the battery cables to the starter. Both ends, especially on the starter.

I guess I need a new - battery cable. It used to be loose on the terminal but I fixed it and greased it up real well. Then I pulled the motor and I didn't grease it very heavily after I reinstalled it but I did make sure it was tight. It was loose again when I checked today. Thanks and hopefully that will cure the problem. I tried a few things today to see if I could further define the problem. I was sitting with the engine off and the radio on and every time the base hit it would shut everything off and turn it back on again. I then drove around with the radio off and almost every time I touched the brakes or turned on the turn signal it would shut everything off again. Wierd.

Replaced the battery cable and double checked all the wiring, still have the same old problem. Help!!! Could a bad ignition cause this?
