Strange noise coming from right side of motor

Well, I just got my car back from the shop again. Seems they only replaced one strut mount when I had it in for repair so I had the other front one replaced. A week before, I had a new starter put in. Anyway, heres my question! I have not driven the car sense picking it up because the a/c is broke and it has been around 100 degrees the past few days. I started the car today and now I have a strange noise coming from the right side on the motor. It sounds just like a playing card in a bicycle spoke. Does anyone have an idea what it may be? Thanks a lot!

hehe im trying to think what a playing card in a spoke sounds (old memories that i cant remember) like but when i figure it out i will help lol and also the right side when your siting in the drivers seat or when you are under the hood looking?

Its on the belt side of the motor.

it could be one of the pully bearings...that happened to my SHO and it made a sound similar.

dont see anything that can be making the noise. It a clicking noise that get faster when the engine is reved

Just got back from the shop. It is a pully bearing! So add this to the sounds that a SHO makes when something goes wrong....Baseball card in bike spoke sound = bad pully bearing.

well aren't you glad that it's only a bearing!! lol and we will have to make a dictionary of SHO sounds ... haha but like i said im my pm napa is where i got my bearing and if they didnt have it i was going to have it re surfaced.

I have the same noise It turned out to be a timing belt tensioner !!!!

im haven the same thing so i think ill go and have it checked out tomorrow
