Learnin' the SHO
Hello again, everyone. It's been a while since I have posted or anything for that matter. BUT, on to the question.
The other day my shifter threw a spark, at the base of the shaft, where it goes down into the console. Found out it blew a fuse. But, my question is: The clip on the backside of the shifter, is that the only thing that keeps the shifter **** from turning and coming off? I mean, i replaced that part and it helped tremendously(sp?), BUT it still isn't completely secure. It still has a small amount of play in it. It still slightly turns CW and CCW. Any guidance on what else could be the culprit? Also, now the OD switch won't make contact. Can't turn it off.
Any help would be appreciated greatly
